Green Static

The wires endat the trees. An unfinished loopkeeps turningin the headphones.Same eight bars.Same mistake.Again.Again.Headphones off.Cedar.Moss.Water below roots. No clean pulse. No useful count.A hand against the ground.Nothing.Almost laughed.Kept it there.A truck passesfar away. The earth answerswith something lower. The loop returns later.Same notes.Different idea.No way to saywhere the difference entered. For the first time, not knowing feels good.
